Pay it Forward
SDTC stands by its mission to continue to promote and inspire tennis in low-income communities. Research shows children from low-income families are half as likely to play sports as kids from upper-incomes homes (The Aspen Institute). For these parents, even a few hundred dollars a year in fees can be hard to cover. Many of our students can't afford to participate every week for exactly this reason.
Our social enterprise is introducing "Pay It Forward". This initiative allows anyone to sponsor low-income students on our waitlist and create the opportunity of a lifetime.
SDTC is not yet a nonprofit so your contribution is not tax deductible. However, SDTC will provide quarterly updates on students and allocation of your funds.
Every contribution, no matter how small truly helps :) We believe that providing the opportunity to participate in tennis to any young person will have life long benefits for them as they grow by building confidence and self esteem through the game of tennis.
