Clay season continues to bring some of the most exciting tennis of the year, and fans everywhere are getting ready for the French Open at Roland Garros. Over the last few weeks, tournaments like the Madrid Open and Italian Open have showcased everything that makes clay court tennis so fun to watch: long rallies, incredible movement, heavy topspin, and the patience players need to compete at the highest level. Clay season always reminds players how important movement, consistency, and mental toughness are during long points, and the excitement around the French Open brings extra energy to the tennis community every year.

At San Diego Tennis Center, our Summer Season begins June 8, and registration is now open for Summer Camps and Summer Classes. For many players, summer is the best opportunity to spend extra time on court, stay active, and continue improving between school breaks. Our programs are designed for all ages and levels, with classes and camps that help players build confidence, develop skills, and enjoy the game in a positive environment. This summer, we’ll continue offering programs like Big Hitters, Volleyers, Baseliners, Qualifiers, GrandSlammers, junior development classes, adult classes, Liveball, and Intermediate Clinics. Families also have flexible options throughout the season, including full session enrollments and drop-in opportunities for many programs.
