The 2025 French Open gave tennis fans everything they could hope for—intensity, passion, and new champions rising to the occasion. In the men’s final, 22-year-old Carlos Alcaraz battled Jannik Sinner in a five-set showdown filled with athleticism and emotion. Alcaraz’s ability to adapt and fight through tough moments earned him his first Roland Garros title—and his third Grand Slam overall. On the women’s side, Coco Gauff stunned the tennis world with a confident, composed win over Aryna Sabalenka. At just 21, Gauff’s performance was a powerful display of how far she’s come—and how bright her future is.

As tennis shines on the global stage, we’re proud to be building young players right here at San Diego Tennis Center. Our summer tennis camp in SDTC is entering its final two weeks, and there’s still time to join in the fun. Whether your child is new to tennis or looking to sharpen their skills, our youth tennis program blends expert coaching with fun, age-appropriate instruction. Campers learn technique, play matches, build confidence, and make lasting friendships. It’s the perfect way to stay active, engaged, and inspired before the school year begins.
