The Davis Cup brings a different side of tennis to the court. Instead of competing individually, players represent their countries as part of a team. Each tie includes singles and doubles matches, with the first country to win three matches moving on to the next round.

This week, the United States is playing Czechia in Prague for a spot in the Davis Cup Final 8. The teams split the first two singles matches, and Team USA moved ahead 2–1 after Christian Harrison and Austin Krajicek won the doubles match. The remaining singles matches will decide which team advances.

Back in San Diego, our Clairemont fall tennis programs begin September 30. Junior classes are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays, along with Adult Intro classes for players who are newer to tennis. New and returning students are welcome, and registration is now open for the fall session.
