Laver Cup 2026 and Clairemont Classes
Team Europe won the 2026 Laver Cup, beating Team World 13–5 at The O2 in London. The three-day event brings together some of the top men’s tennis players, but instead of playing only for themselves, they compete as part of Team Europe or Team World. This year, Team Europe was led by captain Yannick Noah, while Andre Agassi led Team World. The win gave Europe its sixth Laver Cup title.

Team Europe took a 3–1 lead on Friday, but Team World fought back on Saturday. Alex de Minaur beat Alexander Zverev, and Learner Tien also picked up a win to give Team World a 5–3 lead. Europe answered with Carlos Alcaraz beating Taylor Fritz in a close match, followed by a doubles win from Casper Ruud and Zverev. On Sunday, Flavio Cobolli and Jakub Mensik won their doubles match before Zverev beat Tien 7–6(3), 6–3 to secure the Laver Cup for Europe. The weekend had plenty of close matches and showed a different side of tennis, with players who usually compete against each other working together as a team.
