Novak Djokovic is once again chasing history at Wimbledon, eyeing a stack of new records as he pushes to further cement his GOAT status. Meanwhile, Jannik Sinner is on a mission to bounce back strong after a tough French Open, hoping to remind everyone why he's one of the most dangerous players on tour. Carlos Alcaraz, riding high from his Roland Garros win, is determined to make it back-to-back major titles and keep the new generation’s momentum rolling.
On the women’s side, Emma Navarro has been turning heads with her impressive run into the later stages, showing she’s ready to compete with the best. Iga Swiatek is continuing her dominant form, proving she’s just as dangerous on grass as she is on clay. And in case you missed it, there are no line judges this year at Wimbledon — all line calls are fully automated, which is a pretty cool tech twist for the tournament.
Here at San Diego Tennis Center, we’re down to the last three weeks of our summer season! Fall registration will be opening soon, and there’s still time to jump into our junior afternoon classes and the afternoon GrandSlammer camp. Liveball is also in full swing through July. Let’s keep the energy up and finish summer strong, both on the courts and cheering on the pros!
