Rallying from two sets to one down, Alcaraz saved multiple breakpoints in the deciding set, marking his unbeaten record in grand slam finals. World No. 1 Iga Świątek clinched her third consecutive French Open title, defeating Italy’s Jasmine Paolini 6-2, 6-1. This victory, her fifth grand slam and fourth at Roland Garros, extends her undefeated streak at the tournament to 21 matches. Świątek's swift recovery after an initial setback against Paolini, winning ten consecutive games, showcased her resilience and skill. She dominated the final, hitting 18 winners and facing only one breakpoint. Świątek’s victory cements her status as a clay court powerhouse, drawing comparisons to Rafael Nadal’s legendary performance at Roland Garros.
